Volk: architect (U:Ar) — designs architecture using deepseek-reasoner.
The architect package holds U:Ar, the principal designer of the delivery pipeline (specifications 030 and 000). It receives the scoped requirements (plus any UX design), produces the architecture, requirements, file tree, API spec and class diagram, has them reviewed by the Junior volk over up to a fixed number of design cycles, and escalates the approved design to the CodeDirector (codedirector).
volk holds ArchitectVolk, composed from two mixins: architect_context (existing-code context from the knowledge graph with a filesystem fallback) and architect_project (project directory, git, design documents and response parsing). architect_prompts supplies the prompt template and init re-exports the volk.
Control flows through _handle_design, a design_review round trip with junior handled by _handle_feedback, and _finalize_design. _handle_review_edit is a separate deterministic path for edit reviews. Start reading at volk. The curated description is in volks.
