Tools package — the unified tool framework + registry.
orchestrata_tools is the unified tool framework and registry. The framework is base (BaseTool and ToolMetadata) and registry, which registers, discovers, describes and dispatches tools; search (1,645 lines) provides ToolSearchTool for semantic, keyword and fuzzy search across registered tools, and approval is the governance-Prolog implementation of ApprovalGate. The tools themselves, by role. Code intelligence: codebase_tools, codebase_query_tools, context_tools (get_code, get_tests, get_requirements, search_code), lsp_tool, ast_query, ast_query_cli and ast_pipeline. Execution: repl_tool (sandboxed multi-language code execution), remote_trigger_tool, schedule_cron_tool, task_tools and worktree_tools. MCP: mcp_stdio_client and mcp_resource_tools. Capture: conversation_tools. embedding_default is a deterministic hash-projection embedding used as the tools-local default. The openspec subpackage supports the OpenSpec format. Shared types are in contracts tools. Start with base and registry.
