Async swarm coordinator for parallel code generation.
The swarm package generates source code in parallel. It is the engine behind the CodeDirector volk's swarm path (implementation): once the scaffold has written a project skeleton, one concurrent task per source file fills in the code.
The package has three modules. coordinator holds SwarmCoordinator, which builds a prompt per file, runs each file in an isolated copy of the workspace through a junior-volk driver, copies the result back atomically and gates it with syntax, lint, knowledge-graph registration and a deterministic review, retrying with a fix prompt on failure. types holds the ShardResult outcome record. init re-exports both.
Control enters through SwarmCoordinator.execute_swarm with the list of skeleton files; data returns as a list of ShardResult objects plus the full list of workspace files. Start reading at coordinator, which is by far the largest of the three. The fan-out decision itself (how many files justify a swarm) is a Prolog query on prolog_bridge. The curated agents page describes the surrounding runtime.
3 modules, 1,060 lines of code.
