Advanced Escalation Handler for Orchestrata (US-005).
The escalation subsystem of the governance package, SPEC-001 story US-005. When a rule lookup cannot settle a disagreement between volks, this subpackage detects the conflict, tries to resolve it, and otherwise passes it up the chain of authority while a timer watches the clock. The curated governance page shows it in context.
The parts:
- models holds the shared enums and dataclasses:
Conflict,EscalationHop,EscalationResult,Resolutionand the status and strategy enums. - resolver holds
ConflictResolver, which detects overlapping authority and boundary violations through Prolog and applies a vote, priority or delegation strategy. - handler holds
AdvancedEscalationHandler, which asks Prolog for the escalation path and sends anescalationCXP packet to each authority in turn through a route callback, with retries and a per-hop timeout. - sla holds
EscalationSLATracker, which starts a timer per escalation, compares elapsed time with a threshold from Prolog (30 minutes by default) and notifies on a breach. - notifications holds the
NotificationChannelprotocol and the logging channel. - init re-exports them.
The flow is: detect (resolver), escalate (handler, with its state in Redis and the audit trail in the graph), and track the SLA (sla). The package has no process entry point; the kernel's PAM++ MultiHopEscalationManager is the main caller. Start reading at handler.
