Volk: qa (U:Qa) — QA Engineer for test generation, autofix, and review.
The QA package holds U:Qa, the volk that sits between code generation and compliance (specification 031). It reviews generated code through deterministic gates and an LLM review, generates and runs pytest suites with a no-mocks rule, and either bounces failures back to the CodeDirector or passes the work to Compliance.
volk holds QaVolk, which orchestrates the flow and is assembled from mixins, one per concern: _autofix (mechanical source repairs), _dep_install (virtualenv and dependency installation, import validation), _testgen (extracting tests, the mock gate, running pytest) and _context (failure analysis and escalating fix context). _host defines the protocol the mixins expect of QaVolk, and init re-exports the volk. The gate checks themselves live in the CodeDirector's review_checks.
