Sessions 238-242
Continues the session log from Sessions 228-237.
Condensed from the session controller's context.md/context.history.md.
Session 238 — 2026-07-15 — K1 review: kimi vizint-ui failure fixes
Auto-closed shell session (review gate C4); work continued in 239/241.
Session 239 — 2026-07-15 (7m) — Memgraph test-schema leak fixed
Root-caused the shared-cluster leak: clear_prefixed/clear dropped nodes +
vector index but never the per-label constraint + 2 indexes _ensure_schema
creates — 3,379 leaked labels → 6,713 indexes + 3,323 constraints, ~17-min
boot recovery per data node. Purged the live cluster (73 idx / 19 cons / 0
debris), added drop_chunk_label_schema() wired into all 6 leak sites +
regression test.
Session 240 — 2026-07-15 — auto-closed (no work logged)
Session 241 — 2026-07-15 (9h 24m) — KG SPEC-008 remediation + pyright program
Waves A1/B1 committed (Volk MERGE key on alias; Session canonicalisation). Pyright program: src 263→0, scripts 34→0, tests 2024→~1620; real bugs found: thread_pool None-race, swarm TaskGroup isolation, ethical fail-closed, snapshot git_commit always empty, session Prolog facts never cleaned, and more. 11 commits on kg-schema-remediation.
Session 242 — 2026-07-18 → 2026-07-21 — the mega-session
The largest session on record. Highlights, in order:
- Prolog code-intelligence verification — 13 defects found+fixed; parity-gated 4-way benchmark. Verdict: Prolog loses to warm in-memory Python recursion but wins 3-2297x vs cold CLI end-to-end — the win is persisted facts, not faster recursion.
- SPEC-023 ACHIEVED — authoritative suite 612s vs 905-910s baseline = 32.4% faster, zero skips (janus fail-fast transport 791x, AST warm cache + daemon, parallel gates, Memgraph co-scheduling, replica canonical migration). See the speedup story.
- Architecture ontology ratified + phases 1 and 2 MERGED (MR !4/!6/!7):
19 labels, Component unification on all 4 DBs, ArchitectureWriter, ADR
immutability guard, SessionStart full-sync hook; phase 2 = 20 ADRs
graduated + Memgraph
ArchitectureChunksemantic twin with rank-1 retrieval proof. See architecture-ontology. - Test-performance wave 2 — teardown was the tax: label-bounded UNION
sweeps, deferred session-end Neo4j cleanup, Memgraph session-scoped labels
(adapter suite −61%). Isolation audit 76→0 via SUT
env=seams + principled waivers. - Graph-DB deep research (106 agents) → deployed: Memgraph
storage.access_timeout_sec1s→60s (3 layers); Neo4j TEXT indexes + label-scoped substring search; page-cache/heap sizing 256M/512M → 2g/1g primary, 1g/1g workers; GDS Community 2.13.2 installed + PageRank evaluated (0.33s on the live CALLS graph). See graph-db-best-practices. - SPEC-008 work-context pair wired into gateway
knowledge.*RPC (backlog #140) + two dead handlers (coverage_history, rtm_progress) registered. - User rulings recorded: session-start full architecture sync; never skip infra verification (any preflight-disabling is the false-green class).
Open items handed forward: grpc aio exit-hang on full tests/knowledge_graph/
runs (HIGH); CodeFunction carries no CALLS edges (call graph lives on
Function/Method — possible KG-sync gap).
