Neo4j Cluster (decommissioned 2026-07-27)

RETIRED. Checked again on 2026-10-23: no Neo4j container exists in any Incus project (incus list --all-projects). None of the env profiles has a NEO4J_* key: env/prod.env, env/test.env and env/dev.env set KG_ENGINE=memgraph. The neo4j:// scheme in KG_URI is only the routing wire protocol of the Memgraph fork. The live graph is described on Memgraph HA cluster reference.

DECOMMISSIONED 2026-07-27. Neo4j Community structurally cannot cluster — HA is Enterprise-only, closed source, no self-build path — while the operational KG needed live HA. The operational knowledge graph was migrated to a multi-tenant orchkg database on the existing orchgraph cluster (the same Memgraph fork that already served the semantic/RAG graph), and the Neo4j containers were deleted the same day the migration was verified (checksums + query parity + live smoke + a green authoritative suite). neo4j-db, neo4j-node-2, neo4j-node-3, and neo4j-node-4 — and the IPs below — no longer exist (confirmed absent from incus list and unreachable on port 7687). NEO4J_URI / NEO4J_USERNAME / NEO4J_PASSWORD and the per-worker NEO4J_URI_GW1..GW7 fleet mapping were removed from .env with the containers they named.

For the live operational KG, see the KG migration record and the orchgraph reference. Connect with KG_URI=neo4j://10.53.1.160:7691 (routing driver, neo4j:// is just the wire protocol — there is no Neo4j server behind it), database=orchkg, no Bolt auth.

Historical topology (deleted 2026-07-27)

Neo4j ran as a primary instance (neo4j-db, the operational knowledge graph) plus three standalone per-worker clones that isolated parallel test workers (gwN mapping in tests/conftest.py / .env). Bolt was the primary protocol.
