Claude commands
Claude / Commands
14 slash commands, each with its own page. 14 are byte-identical to the orchestrata plugin's copy.
| Command | Plugin copy | Role |
|---|---|---|
| /ast | identical | /ast queries the serialized AST JSON for project structure, class completeness, method signatures, inheritance chains and module dependencies. |
| /code | identical | /code searches the codebase through the orchgraph knowledge graph (Memgraph) without reading files - modules, classes, methods, dependencies and relationships. |
| /diagram | identical | /diagram generates and parses diagrams, going both ways between code and Mermaid, using the global orchestrata-tools package. |
| /diff | identical | /diff shows all changes made during the current session, optionally for one file, grouped by file as unified diffs. |
| /goal | identical | /goal defines and tracks the current session's goal and its exit criteria (SPEC-023). |
| /remember | identical | /remember searches past conversations, decisions and context in the conversation knowledge graph. |
| /review | identical | /review runs the global review-tools against source or test directories - /review src/ for source quality, /review tests/ for test purity, and /review with no path for both. |
| /session-close | identical | /session-close closes the current session with a full eleven-step checklist. |
| /session | identical | /session wraps the session CLI for managing orchestrata work sessions. |
| /smart-edit | identical | smart-edit is a feature description, not a command with arguments - it documents Aider-compatible smart search-and-replace with fuzzy matching, which "is automatically applied when using the Edit too… |
| /squash | identical | /squash squashes all checkpoint commits from the session into one clean commit - /squash "Commit message for all changes". It identifies the session's checkpoint commits, squashes them and commits wi… |
| /test | identical | /test generates test stubs or checks coverage with the global test-gen tool. |
| /trace | identical | /trace is a Python debugging procedure - debug test failures and runtime errors with real execution, stack traces and systematic root-cause analysis. |
| /undo | identical | /undo instantly undoes the last file modification Claude made. |
Notes
The 14 slash commands in ~/.claude/commands are plain Markdown instruction files: invoking /name makes Claude follow the file. All 14 are byte-identical to the copies in the orchestrata plugin's commands/ directory, which is why each appears twice in the slash menu. The codetools plugin has its own five commands (coverage, diagram, realize, snapshot, verify) that load only in sessions rooted in /home/mohamed/workspace.
They fall into four groups. Session tracking: session, session-close and goal, which wrap ~/.claude/tools/session_cli.py. Code intelligence: ast, code and diagram. History and quality: remember, review, test and trace. Edit safety: diff, undo, squash and smart-edit.
Gaps measured on this host. /review calls review-tools and /test calls test-gen, neither on PATH. /diff calls a file_operations module that is not found. /smart-edit describes a fuzzy-match layer whose settings-snippet.json is missing. /undo, /squash and /diff assume checkpoint commits, while the deployed intercept_edit writes a stash-create log, not commits. /session reads context.json directly where the session skill requires the CLI. The /trace file's usage block says /debug. Hooks that react to the same phrases are session_open_hook, session_close_hook and remember_hook. See also skills and hooks.
