- Merged observer plugin (pytest_live_observer NDJSON sink + _rescue_from_live_log) with session-timeout in test_executor.py; _batch_pytest_args now carries BOTH --session-timeout and -p observer plugin. Verified pyright 0 + 34 tests (c344d301). Landed generic Observer/Observable (sync+async, contravariant Protocols, composed _SubscriptionRegistry, log-and-continue) in core/patterns/observer.py: pyright 0, 17 tests, 100% cov (f11716df). Substrate for the volk event mesh.

- pytest_live_observer now drives hooks via SyncObservable[dict] with NDJSON-writer + session-registry observers; a running pytest broadcasts {session_id,pid,live_log,status,counts} to $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/orchestrata/pytest-sessions/<id>.json. New scripts/observe_pytest.py: 'list' discovers running sessions, 'attach <id|latest>' streams PASS/FAIL live and exits at session_finish. Works for executor runs AND plain pytest -p runs. pyright 0, 69 tests green (48 new + 21 executor regression), plugin 97%/tool 100% cov. Demonstrated live end-to-end (8215fe22).
