Sprint 2: Gadget Polish

Duration: Week 2 (40 hours)
Goal: Close 29 requirements in Categories A–F
Target: 100% requirements completion

Day 1: Project Explorer File Tree (8h)

Task 2.1: FileTree Sub-Component (6h) ✅ DONE

File: vizint-ui/gadgets/project-explorer/file-tree.js (new)

Features:

• Recursive directory rendering
• Expand/collapse toggle per directory
• Lazy load files on expand
• Real-time search (debounced 300ms)
• File metadata display

Day 2: Sparklines & Session Enhancements (8h)

Task 2.3: Reusable CanvasSparkline (4h) ✅ DONE

File: vizint-ui/lib/sparkline.js (new)

Extract from QA Dashboard. Support:

• Line chart with area fill
• Configurable color
• Tooltip on hover
• Responsive to container width

Usage:

Task 2.4: Session Status Badges & Iterations (4h) ✅ DONE

• Add CSS pulse animation for active status
• Add iterations list section
• Click handler emitting bus event

Day 3: Deferred Work & Work Log (12h)

Task 3.1: DeferredWorkPanel (8h) ✅ DONE

File: vizint-ui/gadgets/session-manager/deferred-work.js (new)

Features:

• Prioritized list (critical → high → medium → low)
• Inline add form (description, priority, notes)
• Inline edit on click
• Mark Done button
• Remove button with confirm dialog
• Per-item: description, priority badge, status, session added, notes

Task 3.2: WorkLogPanel (4h) ✅ DONE

File: vizint-ui/gadgets/session-manager/work-log.js (new)

Features:

• Text input + send button
• Display last 10 entries with timestamps

• REQ-016-040–042: Log work

Day 4: Backend RPCs & Volk Status Polish (10h)

Task 4.1: Backend Session RPCs (6h)

• Click volk card → slide-out detail panel
• Detail: health history, current task timeline, capabilities
• Compact mode: horizontal bars instead of cards
• Auto-switch based on container width

Requirements Closed:

• REQ-016-089: Detail panel via lifecycle events
• REQ-016-091: Compact mode
• REQ-016-092–093: Layout auto-switch + manual toggle

Day 5: Task Board Detail & Audit Export (10h)

Task 5.1: Task Board Detail Panel (6h) ✅ DONE

File: vizint-ui/gadgets/task-board/gadget.js

Add slide-out panel (right side):

• Title, description, priority, assigned volk
• Parent goal
• Status change history with timestamps
• Linked CXP threads
• Time spent
• Inline editing for all fields

Backend: projects.taskUpdate RPC added to gateway/handlers/projects.py and wired in gateway/rpc.py.

• REQ-016-137–141: Detail panel with inline editing

Task 5.2: Conflict Resolution & Audit Export (4h) ✅ DONE

File: vizint-ui/gadgets/task-board/gadget.js

On session.events with task updates:

• Compare local timestamp vs remote timestamp
• If remote is newer, update silently
• If local is newer, show notification of override

File: vizint-ui/gadgets/audit-trail/gadget.js

Add export buttons:

• CSV: generate Blob with filtered results
• JSON: generate Blob with all fields

Requirements Closed:

• REQ-016-142–144: Persistence + conflict resolution
• REQ-016-185–188: CSV/JSON export

Sprint 2 Verification
