How are agents created and configured?

Agents (volks) are created through the BaseAgent / BaseVolk hierarchy using a VolkConfig dataclass. Configuration is loaded from:

• configs/spike-profiles.yaml for LLM provider profiles.
• src/orchestrata_ultimate/agents/volks/<role>/volk.py for role-specific defaults.
• Runtime parameters passed through the gateway or pipeline runner.

A volk registers itself with the gateway via volk.register, receives intents over CXP packets, and dispatches tool calls through the tool registry. Sample search results and documentation point to BaseAgent as the renamed BaseVolk class and VolkConfig as the configuration carrier.
